37 Ford Phaeton Frame Refurbishement Begins:

The frame was sent to American Metal Cleaning of Cincinnati to be chemically dipped and striped while the team started to make phone calls to locate needed parts.

A built flathead with vintage speed equipment was located at Don Broyles Automotive in Downtown Dayton. The car’s previous owner supplied a T-5 tranny with bell housing, adapter plate, pressure plate and clutch assembly. What was thought to be a Ford 9 inch rear end was donated to the cause - even though it turned out to be a Buick / Pontiac piece – it will be used anyway! Posies was kind enough to give us some “friendly” pricing on a “In-da-weeds” front axle kit and rear springs along with a tubular cross member to mount our T-5. Other parts were sourced from SEMA members as worked progressed.
